gotta thank God for another year of blessings, grace, faith and mercies. everytime when i think negatively, God gives so much more positivity. :D

it's a new day.

my first present from my parents =) it's just a simple ring but it's my first ring! i've always believe that a ring is very very sacred. it should be given by my parents or my future husband. =)

today some of the colleagues got me a birthday cake! a candle on top of a tub of ben & jerry's. sweet! but i saw thru the plot almost immediately.. hahaha! c'mon i guess no one can act as well as i do =P

i caught a night in the museum on ch 58, very entertaining! i rem wanting to catch it when it was on the big screen so was glad that i saw it FOC heh.

the 26th birthday bash

loads to blog on the birthday celebration of the century!!! hahaha ya right..=) firstly im thankful for all the pressies, sms-es, cards and handshakes i got. thanks everyone!

the joint march babies (christopher and i - difference of 1 day but i'm 364 days older than him) celebration with the current and ex SAA-ians was fab. we had it @ marmalade pantry which was located at palais renaissance.. always thot that place is quite attas cos david gan's salon was there. lol. i had the baked miso tofu with tempura veg. even though the tofu was not as hot as i want it to, it was nice =)

was unusually high that day, i was talking and blabbering a lot haha.. heh just happy cos the company was really good. you can check out the photos in my FB. i've got 2 items from my wishlist and 1 that was kinda like a surprise. i knew wad it was but didn't know how it'll turn out and thankfully it was angela who bought the stuff cos she knows my taste the best! =)

so i got: 1. ettusais zero-oil pore foundation, 2) a topshop shawl and 3) a clutch from ness

after the celeb i walked ard isetan with angela and went to church. after yf, the entire group of us then went to astons for dinner but as expected it was sooooooooooo crowded! =/ and i really wanted to eat the baked potato. in the end no choice had to go cartel lo. and kelvin kuan treated the 16 and below to dinner and i thought.. they were a lil hmm not that nice by ordering their meals + set~~! very expensive ba...?

the actual day!

i had to teach SS in the morning and i thought it was quite ok. think it kinda drilled into them but marcus was trying to be funny but making alot of rubbishy comments. it seems that en di is not as bad anymore but he still has his naughty days la. receive quite a few things from the church pple and there was this funny moment where john presented me with haagen daaz vouchers that he bought together with the guys. and he said 十七年来我想跟你说一句话，那就是 happy birthday. -_-" how idiotic. =/

very happy that i receive presents from quite a few pple, esp from the younger ones =) deb & daphne gave me a candy dispenser! haha must take a picture of it, si en gave me the organiser that i wanted from A 'N' BC, the gals got me the matthew henry commentary and $30 cash, aikhui gave me a notebook with a customised bookmark, haagen daaz vouchers from john & the guys hmm wad else.. oh a pillow from my parents! angpow from ma ma. =D

the same night, my extended family and i went to bedok south ave 3 to eat zi char. food was gr8 and luuuuurve the crabs =) then it was back to my house to cut the cake. this more or less ends the 26th birthday celebration~ & i'm really happy.

thank God for His many many blessings bestowed and for endless grace and mercy. i truly believe things work together for those that love Him. Life seems hard @ times but I thank God for a lil of STM, you easily forget how uncomfortable you feel and it keeps me sane. Thank God for breath of life. Thank God that I can serve 1 more year in YF, it's really a good chance for me use wadever lil expertise i have in this area. Thank God for parents! Thank God for friends! tra-la-la~

the birthday celebration!

it's been quite an eventful weekend celebrating and all. think it's a nice and sweet celebration with the various groups of pple. i lurve celebrating, don't you? i like ra-ra bday celebs heh. *yawn Quite tired so will KO first. Updates coming!

the first celebration~

had my very first birthday celebration this year with the 38 gang =) kok & sotong planned for a trip to bkk next week so they wouldn't be ard so we had to have it earlier. met them @ cha ren for ktv den went to Da Dong to eat dinner.

ktv was fun and i haven't sang in a long while, dinner was satisfactory even tho can taste the after effects of the MSG.. i drank alot of chinese tea, scared i cant sleep.. =P

heh anyway think we haven't celebrated my bday in a while.. so it was good to see them and they treated me to ktv and dinner. super super touched! hee. thanks gals!!
