i know a crumpler is expensive

xiao di finally got his crumpler. once he sets his eyes on sumthing, pretty heard to dissuade him.. it's not a good thing la.. on the way home, i was telling him, as children of a clerk & a taxi driver, we seem to be able to afford better than average things and we should count it as God's grace to us. I am also thankful for my aunt who always help out.

today i went down to orchard to wait for xiao di and after shopping for the crumpler. we decided to get economical and sedap dinner so after much consideration, we decided on far east cos on the 3rd or 4th floor there's quite good food. we ended up at a thai restaurant called na-na-something.. the portions come in S, M & L and we wanted to order the small ones but the waitress said it's not enough. the food came and we were stunned la. the portions were so huge (!) that tian en tried to eat as much of the carbo.. Pity I didnt take a picture of it. We thought it would be pretty ex since we ordered the M sizes but when the bill came, it was only $51 for the 5 of us so it wasnt too bad. =) we walked ard and i bought a pair of jeans for xiao di.

i do think im rather pampered to a certain extent. & i pamper my brothers too, admittedly more to the lil one. cos da di is very thrifty, with minimal wants hahaha.. so no need to spend much on him =)
