Phuket Day 2 - 4

Day 2:

we woke up really early and went to get our breakfast. the plan for the day is sunbathing. morning @ the swimming pool & afternoon @ the beach! they have such a nice pool too and it is located just outside of our hotel room.

see, our room is just outside the beach. i didn't bring the camera out with me so i didn't capture any shots of the beach on day 2.. basically we head out to the beach for lunch and and then stayed out in the sun in the afternoon and then dinner @ the beach b4 we head back for to the room to watch "Finding Neverland". The cool thing about the hotel is that you can even rent DVDs for fRee! Din sleep well again! *grr

Day 3:

i took this at the eatery we were eating at.. wanted to capture the nice beach behind but it was too bright =P

this is the eatery.. there are many of these along the beach. they also rent out sunbeds and offer services such as massage, hair braiding, manicure and pedicure! but the beds they use for massage looks dirrrty & old..

as privileged guests of the hotel, we get our own corner!! FOC! clean too! they have just gotten the approval to rent this part of the beach at the beginning of the month so it's good that we just got there right on time. =D

this uncle is super cute. there were people peddling items such as ice cream, fruits, shawls, lil souvenirs, bikinis etc. There was more than 1 uncle selling ice cream but this one is super on. He was wearing a lion's mane sorta head gear!! cos' he was peddling w@ll's ice cream hahaha.. Angela and I eventually bought the cornetto royale from him cos he really put in the effort la.. it cost us 60 bahts! which is like about the same price in Singapore. But we also found a cheaper one @ a minimart near our hotel for only 25 baht!! -_-" nevertheless it was suuuper cheap and we bought another cone for ourselves.

the story of the bikini. i just have to tell everyone abt it. this aunty was peddling bikinis so we beckon her over just to ask her how much it cost. angela n i are only left with 200 baht after lunch so we weren't keen on getting it. aunty said it was 550 baht, we then said thank you to her telling her that we were just asking for the price. Then she asked us how much we had, we said we only have 200 baht and guess what? She say, "ok ok.. u can chose.. can can ok ok" in her Thai-accented English. LOL and yes, we bought one. So cheap! only S$8.60 wor.

ah. as the hotel's privileged guests, we also got free fruits FOC! so cute hor.

The night ended with a luxurious spa @ the hotel's Spa Lounge, it was a good 90 minutes and it was my first time. It was so so relaxing & therapeutic.

Day 4:

We woke up around 6+, 7am to catch our flight to Singapore. We were excited by Dunkin Donuts at the airport that both of us bought 2 boxes each. This marks the end of the Phuket trip and I definitely hope to be back again. =)
